Why should I register my crossbow?

How do I register my crossbow ?

The retailer you purchased your crossbow from may have registered your bow for you. However, you can register your crossbow by creating a Mission Community account. Click here to create your account or log in to register your bow.
Where is the serial number on my crossbow?

Crossbow serial numbers are located on the inside of the rail. Turn the crossbow over and locate the serial number on the inside of the rail, towards the stock, behind the trigger assembly. (See image below)
Can I store my crossbow cocked for an extended period of time?

It is acceptable to have your Mission crossbow cocked while in hunting situations. However Mission recommend you discharge the bolt into a discharge target to reduce the stress on the limbs after the hunt. We do not recommend storing or transporting your bow in the cocked position.
Can I cock my crossbow with my hands?

All Mission crossbows are supplied with cocking ropes to avoid injury to hands and to ensure the crossbow is cocked properly. We always recommend using the cocking aid when cocking your crossbow.
Can I use Flat crossbow nocks?

No, most crossbow dry fires occur because of nock failure. Mission recommends using Mission Aluminum half moon nocks to greatly reduce the chances of a nock failure.
How do I adjust the draw weight of my crossbow?

Using a 7/32 hex wrench you insert this into the front limb bolts and turn in even increments on each side. 1 full turn is approximately 7# on the 360 and 9# on the 320.
Can I use a fixed blade broadhead with my crossbow?

Yes. You can use any 3 blade fixed head that has a cutting diameter of 1 1/16” or less. We do not recommend using 4 blade broadheads.
How do I “un-cock” my crossbow?

The safest and recommended procedure for unloading or un-cocking your crossbow is to fire a bolt/ arrow equipped with a field point into a recommended crossbow target or into debris-free ground.Never fire your crossbow bolt into the ground farther than 5 feet away to avoid a ricochet and to avoid losing your bolt/ arrow. How do I know when to replace my string?

If you notice that your string has broken or severely frayed strands, you should immediately replace both your string and cables. String life expectancy depends on the volume of shooting and the care of the string.
